How to reach BHU, Varanasi

Since Varanasi lies in the heartland of the North Indian plains, it is connected to major cities of India via rail. There are three railway stations in Varanasi: Varanasi Junction, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction and Manduadih Railway Station.

Varanasi Junction to BHU:
BHU Campus is about 10 kms from Varanasi Junction railway station. Round the clock Auto/Taxi services are available from Varanasi Junction railway station to BHU (Lanka). The tentative charges are for reserve auto, Rs.120-150/-, shared auto Rs. 20/- and for taxi, Rs. 200/- to 250/-.

From Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction to BHU:
BHU Campus is about 20 km. from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction. Round the clock Auto/Taxi services are available from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction to BHU (Lanka). The tentative charges are for reserve auto INR 200/-, Shared auto Rs. 35/- and for taxi, INR 300/- to 350/-

Manduadih Railway Station to BHU:
BHU Campus is about 3 Kms from Manduadih Railway Station. This station connects mainly Varanasi within Uttar Pradesh/New Delhi and there is one weekly train from Rameswaram to Varanasi. Auto/Taxi services are available from Manduadih station to BHU (Lanka).
